At Marvea’s construction site in Tampere, a Labkotec LokaSET‑M level alarm was tested. The device monitored the filling level of a sludge tank and automatically sent an alert to the emptying contractor when the tank required servicing. The solution enabled the sludge tank emptying process to be automated without separate service orders, significantly reducing the administrative burden of day-to-day site management.
Thanks to remote monitoring, tank emptying was carried out at the right time, and cooperation with DELETE, the company responsible for the emptying service, was seamless. The system improved efficiency and reduced the need for manual monitoring. During the remote monitoring period, the tank was emptied a total of 17 times over eight months.
The LokaSET‑M system remained in use throughout the active phase of the construction project, and its removal was coordinated with the site schedule before the project was completed.
