Safe solution for hazardous areas
SET‑2000 can be used as a power supply for sensors installed in hazardous areas (zones 0, 1 and 2). The device’s input connections are intrinsically safe, enabling safe operation in Ex areas.
The control unit itself must be installed in a safe area, but the connected sensors can be placed in different zone classifications. Galvanically isolated sensor inputs ensure interference‑free and safe operation even in demanding processes.
