idSET Solar – Smart monitoring for oil separators in off-grid locations

idSET Solar is a solar-powered alarm and communication unit with an internal modem designed for monitoring oil layer thickness, sludge accumulation, and high liquid levels in oil and sand separators — especially in off-grid locations where mains power is unavailable. It ensures reliable environmental protection even in remote or hard-to-reach locations.

idSET Solar is equipped with an internal modem that utilizes LTE-M and NB-IoT (4G) communication technologies for remote monitoring and alarm transmission. In addition, an external beacon light can be connected to the device. In an alarm situation, the beacon light flashes and/or a notification is sent to the user’s mobile phone or LabkoNet cloud service.

In case of an alarm, the system can trigger a flashing beacon, send SMS alerts to predefined contacts, or both. Alarms are also displayed locally on the control unit during its brief wake-up period.

  As equipped with an internal modem, idSET Solar can receive configuration updates and transmit measurement data at predefined intervals, enabling remote management and diagnostics.

  The idSET-32M Battery control unit supports various idOil/idSET sensors, allowing flexible system customization based on site-specific needs.
